Curtis Corner Middle School PTO
Join us at our next meeting Monday October 5th at 7:00 in the CCMS Library!
Curtis Corner Middle School’s Parent Teacher Organization
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to be involved with your child’s school community. It is never too late in the year to get involved!
The CCMS PTO is a group of parents and faculty organized as a “Steering Committee”. For some time we have operated successfully with this structure without elected officers, allowing everyone who attends our monthly meetings to participate in an equal capacity. The meetings are often facilitated by Sharon DeLuca. Various Steering Committee members oversee fundraising and cultural arts projects. We are always looking for additional volunteers and we welcome any additional community members to join us at any time to offer ideas and suggestions.
The CCMS PTO coordinates fundraisers, funds in-school events that enhance the curriculum, allocates money to staff and faculty for the purchase of equipment and materials, and coordinates volunteers for various activities. In addition, Principal Michele Humbyrd and Assistant Principal Kathy Egan, give regular updates at the meetings on school wide happenings.
We sponsor two clothing sales, one in the Fall when Navy colored clothes are sold and a one in the Spring with white t-shirts. This is done principally to enhance school spirit.
Come and join us at 7:00 in the CCMS Library!
