Social Studies
US History with Ms. Weeks

Posted 1/30/12:

Dear Students and Family:

Thank you for taking the time to review the following homework grading policy change and a review of information and expectations.

Homework expectations:

  • All homework is to be completed.  Students will earn 100% credit for thoughtful complete answers.  Partial credit will be earned for incomplete work.  Missing homework will not earn a passing grade.
Assessments are weighted as follows (This is a change!):
  • Quizzes (40%)
  • Tests, projects, papers (50%)
  • Homework assignments (10%)
  • Go to http://cc.skschools.net/ and locate the Team link to access homework for the Enterprise team.
  • Students will write down every assignment in their planner, even if there is “no HW”.  Checking the planner daily is a great way for your family to stay informed.  PLANNERS WILL BE STAMPED INDICATING WORK NOT COMPLETED BY THE TEACHER.  Notes may be written in the planner between teachers and parents/guardians as needed.

I will be available for extra help after school on Wednesdays until 2:50pm (please allow some changes based on teacher discretion).
