CCMS Family and Consumer Science
FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE –
Family and Consumer Science at CCMS provides an opportunity for students to expand knowledge and skills they will use through out their lives. In Foods class students learn basic food preparation, healthier food choices, and food safety and sanitation. Textile classes explore garment care and construction.
All classes learn concern for the community during Service Learning projects in which they put to use the skills they learn in FCS and their other CCMS classes. Job skills such as cooperation, communication, patience, and organization are developed in all classes.
