Extra help/Homework Club: Most Tuesdays (occasional Mondays); help always available during lunch or by appt.
NOTE: This site is NOT intended as a substitute for using the daily planner. Students should be writing all assignments in planners on a daily basis; if no homework is due the next day, its is a good idea to work on something due later. Break the procrastination habit and do better with less stress!
NOTES/REMINDERS
- NOTE: If you are looking for final quarter 2 grades in Parent Connect, I apologize, but a few were not entered due to time constraints with grading the Classic Covers and final IR Logs. This may explain why final report card grades may be off from what you access in Parent Connect. Please keep in mind that while Parent Connect is a great way to monitor your child's progress and if work is missing, it is NOT intended to be a definitive report card. Since I drop the lowest quiz grade and add bonus points for various things, it was actually quicker and easier for me to do my grades manually with a calculator. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
- THANKS for the excellent participation in this year's SL Conferences! Again, the conferences are NOT intended as a substitute for a parent/teacher conference. Though teachers do our best to insure that at least one of us sits in for a bit of every conference, perhaps you did not have contact that day with the teacher you most wanted to see or speak with. If so, please contact us! If you feel a team meeting is necessary, contact guidance. PLEASE RETURN YOUR ADULT HOMEWORK (NOTE TO STUDENT/FEEDBACK SURVEY) ASAP.
- Hopefully you received your child's report card; they were given to students Monday Feb 6 and should have included our team newsletter and a letter from me regarding my upcoming absence and info about the substitute, Brittany Boudreau. I am optimistic I will be returning in early April, but rest assured, the kids are in great hands and I will keep in the loop. Please don't hesitate to get in touch via e-mail if you have concerns or questions while I am out.

Thursday/February 9 Play "Clue" (classic board game) in class; assign "Clue" mysteries. Final work due Thurs 3/1
Friday/February 10 Grammar Notes due today or Monday; Adjective game in class (come prepared or no credit!)
