Liberty Norms
1. Be responsible, respectful and ready to learn. 2. Do not talk during the announcements. 3. Always bring class materials, a writing utensil and a pleasure reading book to class. 4. Use the
restroom and sharpen pencil the first or last 5 minutes of class. 5. Write down the homework, in your planner, even if there is no HW! 6. All assignments must have a proper paper heading, no fringe, a margin and skip a line. 7. Never do HW for other classes during class.

The planner that your child received on the first day of school is to be used daily to record homework assignments. A good way to stay informed is to check the planner daily. Brief notes may be written in the planner between the core subject teachers and parents as needed. Most homework information is also available on the "homework" link on the left side of the site.
The planner is also used as a hall pass if your child needs to leave class to use the lav, see the nurse, etc. It is your child’s responsibility to have the planner at all times. The first planner is provided free of charge. A replacement planner must be purchased if a student loses the first planner. It is expected that all pages will remain in the planner until the end of the year.
